System Overview
Curved Cannula
The CurveCut Cannula is curved to follow the gastrocnemius aponeuroses of the lower calf ensuring an even release of fibers laterally and medially. It provides a working channel for endoscopic visualization and instrument placement, with a longitudinal slot that accommodates blade deployment.

Blade
The CurveCut Blade features a hooked cutting tip and an offset, bayonet-style profile for a withdrawal cutting motion. The clamp attaches the blade to the scope for use under endoscopic visualization, while engagement with the shim handle provides a secure grip during the release.
Handle & Shim
The Handle & Shim Assembly deploys the blade and provides a dedicated handle for the surgeon to control the cutting motion. The blade fits securely into the shim handle during the release, while allowing the surgeon to deactivate the blade and withdraw the shim when needed.
Spatula
The Spatula component assists in the clearing of tissue and facilitates the easy insertion of the Cannula into the operative site.
